Conference Weekend

Great conference. We had fun entertaining our kids, relaxing and hearing words from the prophet and apostles!

In case you were wondering what ever happened to those small seedlings that were "oh-so-important" to me before Zachary was born, I didn't just drop them like a hotcake. I managed to keep them alive along with my newborn and my 2 year old. Although, they did a lot more work for themselves than I did for them.

We all helped out...

And the garden just kept growing...

Lizzy even learned how to water!

And now we are reaping the rewards and eating what Lizzy has not stepped on or smooshed ;) (Ok, so she doesn't do that much damage, but she does like to play with our produce. At first she was really good at picking the red tomatoes, but now they are more fun to play with.)

Zach is usually happy when we visit the garden too and likes to find a cool, shady spot under the corn stalks.

Introducing Zachary Michael...

Arrived June 10, 2009, at 6:42 am. He was 5 pounds, 12 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long.

(He was just a little guy!)

Now a month later he probably weighs 7 pounds and has grown so much. He likes to keep us up all night and when Keith and I think about the fact that he is almost 5 weeks old, we aren't sure where the time has gone. (We like to think of it as a month of sleep walking.)

But we love our new baby boy, sleepless nights and all!
